The time has come. The event is almost here! As the weeks progress, my team and I are getting more and more excited about what God is going to do in the lives of the teens that come to the event.  There are several things that have been coming together the past few weeks and I am anticipating an even more amazing event.

Below is a picture of the ATF representatives for this event as well as a general schedule for the event. At the YP Briefing meeting there will be a more specific schedule given out to Youth Pastors. Hopefully this will make your planning easier.  ( :

 Let’s Make a Deal: You’ve got ideas.  I want to hear them.  I’ve tried to make it as clear as possible that I will do whatever I can to get students to this event.  If you are in a situation that sounds a little something like this… “I would love to come, BUT…” or “I would love for this student to be able to attend, BUT…” or “It would be so cool IF…”, give me a call! I definitely can’t make you any promises, but I will try to work with you in any capacity I possibly can.  Just let me know what it is!

 A few updates:

     -The Youth Pastor Connect Meeting is set for September 4^th from 7-9 p.m. and will be held at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Garden Grove Anaheim in the conference room. The address for the Hotel is: 12867 Garden Grove Blvd Garden Grove, CA 92843. During this free meeting you will have the opportunity to network with other youth pastors and become re-inspired about youth ministry. You will be hearing from a Teen Mania speaker on the roll-out of this years ATF theme. We want to help you use ATF to impact students, families, and parents. We will be serving desserts and coffee! Bring your spouse, leadership team, and parents who want to get involved! If you are interested in attending, please RSVP by calling my work phone at 903.324.7474 or posting a reply.

     -Right now the ticket prices are $58 for the floor and $47 for the bowl. These prices are valid until September 19^th. After September 19^th prices will rise $10 each. You can register for tickets at this site or over the phone with an ATF representative.

     -We are currently locating some hotels to use for a discounted price while you attend the ATF. Be on the lookout-I will update the site asap.

     -If you attended ATF last year and took advantage of the Year in Advance offer, remember that the charge date for these tickets is September 1st.

Hello SoCal!

I am excited to introduce to you Kristin Devalerio!  She is succeeding me as the Anaheim ATF Director.  My duties at ATF as the NYC Director and manager of training have led us to select a qualified individual that is already working with three other California events (San Diego, Sac-town, Fresno) who I think brings special insight and experience since she is so familiar with the other events in the state.

Since I’m from Cali I hope to continue my involvement with the local church there in different ways.

Kristin’s been working with us for two years, make sure to get to know her.  She’ll start blogging right away, or always feel free to give her a call (903-324-7474)!!  We hope to see you in Anaheim this year.

We were blown away this year by Phil Joel as well!
San Diego ATF was actually the first time he’s led an entire weekend of worship with us, and it was so moving. B/c of that, we were convinced to ask him to be a worship leader on tour with us this year. He will be leading worship again at San Diego, but Unhindered will be leading worship in Anaheim! They rock, and your young people will absolutely encounter God with them as well!

Oh-an extra thought-we’ve found that dates for booking Christian artists Nov 14-15 as well as the last weekend in Sept is always hard, so for this event and the Amherst event we’ve got our work cut out for us!!

Thanks for posting! We are working hard on hammering out the bands for Anaheim. We normally book these bands sooner, but I’ve asked we give some extra thought and time on who we have. I’ve been doing some research b/c I want to get the right mix of artists as we do reach a largely suburban crowd, but I don’t want us to miss out on the urban community as well.

In short-to give you an insiders thought-I hope to see the attendance double for this coming year, and let’s work together to build up to a SoCal BattleCry in 2010 or 2011.
